Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Hong Kong JoyFlix Technology Limited (香港悦影科技有限公司; “ViewSees,” “we”) collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit viewsees.com or use the Studio. 1. Information we collect

You provide

• Account data: name, email, password or auth tokens, company name, country.
• Billing data: billing name, address, tax IDs. Card numbers are collected by Stripe, not stored by ViewSees in full.
• Support messages and attachments you send to our inboxes.
• Inputs: prompts, uploaded images, and project settings needed to generate video.

Collected automatically

• Device and log data: IP address, browser type, referring URL, timestamps, approximate location derived from IP.
• Usage data: plan type, credit consumption, feature clicks, error events.
• Cookies and similar technologies as described in the Cookie Policy.

From processors

Stripe shares limited payment metadata with us (last four digits, card brand, payment status, tax amounts) so we can provision your account and handle refunds. We do not receive your full PAN or CVC.

2. How we use information

• Provide the Service, render video, and enforce credit limits.
• Process payments, invoices, refunds, chargebacks, and tax.
• Authenticate users, secure the Service, and prevent fraud or abuse.
• Respond to support and legal requests.
• Send transactional email (receipts, security alerts, material terms updates).
• With consent or as allowed by law, send product announcements; you may unsubscribe.
• Improve models and product quality using aggregated or de-identified metrics. We do not train public models on paid-plan uploads without a separate written agreement.

Legal bases (EEA/UK): contract, legitimate interests (security, product improvement), legal obligation (tax, accounting), and consent where required (certain cookies and marketing).

3. How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share it with:

• Stripe — payment processing, billing portal, tax.
• Infrastructure providers — cloud hosting, GPU rendering, email delivery, error monitoring, under contracts that restrict use of the data.
• Professional advisors — legal, accounting, insurance, as needed.
• Authorities — when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the Service.
• Successors — in a merger, financing, or sale, subject to this Policy.

4. Retention

Account and billing records are kept for the life of the account and as required for tax (typically seven years). Prompts and source uploads may be kept to re-render jobs and for abuse review, then deleted on a rolling schedule or upon verified deletion requests where we are not legally required to retain them. Logs are kept for a limited security window.

5. International transfers

We are incorporated in Hong Kong. If you access the Service from elsewhere, your information may be processed in Hong Kong, the United States (including by Stripe), and other countries where our processors operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

6. Your rights

Hong Kong: you may request access to and correction of personal data we hold about you under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (PDPO). Email privacy@viewsees.com.

EEA/UK/Switzerland: access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and objection to certain processing. You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

California and similar US state laws: you may request to know, delete, or correct personal information. We do not sell or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined in the CCPA/CPRA. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.

Email privacy@viewsees.com from your account address. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

7. Children

The Service is for adults 18+. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.

8. Security

We use TLS in transit, access controls, and processor agreements. No method of transmission is perfectly secure. You are responsible for your password and for not sending card data to us by email.

9. Changes

We will post updates on this page and change the “Last updated” date. Material changes affecting paying customers will also be emailed when required.
